EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Eau Claire football team improved one spot in the latest D3football.com, moving to No. 8 in the weekly top 25 national poll.

The Blugolds are coming off a 34-0 homecoming victory over the UW-Oshkosh Titans. The last time Eau Claire was ranked eighth or higher in the poll was in the eighth week of the 2004 season.

This weekend the Blugolds face UW-La Crosse. The game will be played at Winona State University starting at 7 p.m.
