The Eau Claire Express fell to the Rochester Honkers 4-3 Saturday night at Carson Park.

Trailing 4-2 in the bottom of the 9th, the Express had the bases loaded with nobody out. Nolan Fadness hit into a double play that scored Andrew Leonard and put the tying run on third base. But with two outs, Brooks Pinckard struck out swinging to end the game.

Eau Claire is now 0-3 in the second half of the Northwoods League season. They have Sunday off before going to Brainerd Monday.
