Warriors Win 57th Straight

Unbeaten Winona State defeated Central Missouri 90-to-85 in overtime to advance to the title game in NCAA Division Two.

Top-ranked Winona -- the defending Division Two champion -- will meet Barton on Saturday. Barton beat Cal State-San Bernardino 80-to-79 in the other semifinal. Winona has a record 57-game winning streak.

The Warriors overcame an eleven-point second-half deficit to force overtime. Winona outscored Central Missouri 12-to-seven in overtime, thanks to a strong inside game by John Smith, who got seven of his 25 points in the extra period.

Jonte Flowers led Winona with 32 points. Zach Malvik added 18 for the Warriors.
