The UW-Eau Claire football team will try to move back over the .500 mark this Saturday when the Blugolds take on La Crosse at Carson Park. Eau Claire is coming off a 44-35 victory at Oshkosh last week.
The Blugolds have had plenty of success against the Eagles lately winning five of their last six meetings. Saturday will be the final game for 15 Eau Claire seniors who want to go out on a winning note in front of their fans at Carson Park.
Todd Glaser/Blugolds Head Football Coach: "We got a lot of guys who have played a lot of football for us, that are coming out here, they want to play well and that's the way they've been practicing this week. Hate to see them leave after the year, but still have two games left and this one is important for us."
Cory Sartorelli/Blugolds Senior Running Back: "It will be interesting because this is my last time at Carson Park, not just me but all of us seniors. Got a lot of memories, kind of sad, but kind of exciting too."
