Brewers Fall To Marlins 5-3

Miguel Cabrera had three R-B-I's and Florida continued its successful run against Milwaukee by beating the Brewers 5-to-3.

Cabrera hit a two-run homer that put the Marlins ahead 4-to-1 in the third inning. He's hitting .500 with three homers and eleven R-B-Is this season.

Anibal Sanchez improved to 1-and-0 despite struggling over six innings, allowing three runs on eight hits and three walks.

Henry Owens worked the ninth for his first career save, closing out the Marlins' ninth consecutive win over the Brewers.

Geoff Jenkins hit a two-run homer for the Brewers, who have dropped four of five.

Jeff Suppan was reached for five runs and eight hits in six innings. He's 0-and-2.
