National letter of intent signing day
Menomonie's girls basketball player Kelsey Andrist signed a national letter of intent on Wednesday to play at Winona State next year, while at Chippewa Falls' Jordyn Hubin will play her college softball at St. Cloud State. Winona State University is the destination for Menomonie girls basketball player Kelsey Andrist, the Indians guard signed her letter of intent on Wednesday. The first team All-Big Rivers selection last year, averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds as a junior.
Kelsey Andrist/Signs Letter of Intent at Winona State: "It was always a goal of mine since I was little to play college hoops, it feels really good to play at the next level. I wanted to go somewhere that was successful, play competitive games, I really enjoyed the coach and the girls, and I'm excited to play with all those girls next year."
Meanwhile, Chippewa Falls' Jordyn Hubin signed her letter of intent on Wednesday, and will play softball at St. Cloud State next year. The Cardinals shortstop helped Chi Hi to a Division 1 state runner-up finish last spring.
And one more signing, former Eau Claire Memorial standout and Wisconsin Mr. Hockey, Jefferson Dahl signed his letter of intent to play at Wisconsin next year. Dahl, who was back in Eau Claire recently, is playing in Ohio this year for the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League, Jefferson will suit up for the Badgers next year.
