6th annual Eau Claire Flying Eagles ski club "Learn to Ski" Day Saturday, December 22nd

The Eau Claire Flying Eagles ski club will hold its 6th annual "Learn to Ski" Day this Saturday, December 22nd at Mt. Washington Nordic Ski Center in Eau Claire.
Parents are encouraged to bring their kids, ages 4 and up to Mt. Washington, located on Menomonie Street in Eau Claire to take part in the great family activity. No experience is necessary, and new skiers will begin on the small slopes and bunny hill, and may progress to a small jump hill.
Members of the Flying Eagles ski club will be on hand to teach your kids, and here's the best part, it's FREE. Eau Claire Ski Club member Dan Mattoon says, "The kids are probably the most inspirational for other young, aspiring skiers, and they come out here and help the kids to learn how to go down the hill, put their skis on, how to stop, stuff like that, and of course, these little Flying Eagles ski club guys really get a kick out of it because it's a lot of fun for them as well to try and train and teach other kids how to ski."

Again, "Learn to Ski" Day is from 10 am until 4 pm, reservations are required and can be made by calling (715) 838-0984.
