Twins' Nathan Falters Late, Drop Series Finale To Devil Rays

Dioner Navarro and Carlos Pena delivered R-B-I hits off Joe Nathan to lift Tampa Bay past Minnesota 6-to-4.

Navarro doubled home the go-ahead run before scoring on Pena's single. Navarro had two hits and scored twice as the Devil Rays earned a split of the four-game series.

Delmon Young stretched his hitting streak to 12 games with a two-run homer in the sixth. Brendan Harris also homered for the Devil Rays, who lead the league with 19 round-trippers.

Jason Bartlett had three htis and two R-B-Is for the Twins.

Brian Stokes worked a scoreless eighth to get to 1-and-2. Al Reyes struck out two in a perfect ninth for his fourth save.

Nathan dropped to 1-and-1 with his first loss since September of 2005.
