Niklas Backstrom turned back 28 shots and the Minnesota Wild staved off elimination by beating Anaheim 4-to-1.
Backstrom blanked the Ducks after Chris Pronger scored a power-play goal just six minutes into the second period.
The Wild scored the final four goals, three coming in the final period. Marian Gaborik (GAB'-uh-rihk) snapped a one-all tie with a power-play tally three and a-half minutes into the third stanza. Minnesota had been 1-for-17 with the man advantage until Gaborik notched his second goal of the series.
Brian Rolston and Mark Parrish gave the Wild a three-goal lead by scoring 77 seconds apart.
Pierre-Marc Bouchard (boo-SHAHRD') also scored and Pavol Demitra (deh-MEE'-truh) had two assists as the Wild avoided a four-game sweep.
The Ducks will try to wrap up the Western Conference quarterfinal series at home on Thursday.
