Packers Wrap-up 2007 NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers made three straight selections in the sixth round of the N-F-L draft today.

With the 191st pick, they chose linebacker Korey Hall from Boise State. The Packers say they plan to convert Hall from linebacker to fullback.

With the next pick, Green Bay selected linebacker Desmond Bishop from California. Bishop led the Golden Bears and the PAC 10 Conference last season with 126 tackles. His draft status dropped because scouts considered him slow for his position.

With the Packers' final pick in the sixth round, they selected kicker Mason Crosby out of Colorado. Crosby had a 60-yard field goal in a game against Iowa State. Packers say Crosby will compete with incumbent Dave Rayner for kicking duties this season.

In the seventh round, the Packers selected running back DeShawn Wynn from Florida and tight end Clark Harris from Rutgers.

Earlier today, Green Bay chose offensive tackle Allen Barbre (BAR'-burr) from Missouri Southern State in the fourth round and David Clowney, a wide receiver from Virginia Tech, in the fifth round.
