There's another Brett Favre alert tonight.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback now is reported to be planning to be on hand when the team opens its mandatory minicamp Friday.
Favre had told the Biloxi, Mississippi, Sun-Herald on Tuesday that he would stay home in Mississippi and miss the minicamp. He can't practice because he's recovering from offseason ankle surgery, and he told the newspaper he planned to stay home and help with preparations for his daughter's upcoming high school graduation.
But a person familiar with the situation now says Favre changed his mind and will be there when the three-day minicamp opens in Green Bay Friday.
The person requested anonymity because neither side is expected to officially announce Favre's intention to attend.
