Memorial Baseball Team Tops Hudson; North Blanks River Falls

The Eau Claire North baseball team continues to close in on the Big Rivers title as the Huskies defeated River Falls 13-zip Thursday evening. North pitcher Phil Isaksson came within one out of a perfect game, while Huskies teammate Trevor Madson had three hits including a homerun. North can lock up the BRC title with a win over Rice Lake next Tuesday at Carson Park. Meanwhile, Eau Claire Memorial took over sole possession of second place in the BRC with a 10-3 victory over Hudson.
