It's the end of an era, the Chris O'Connell era. Friday, the long-time Eau Claire Regis football coach stepped down from a post he says he has cherished for the past twenty-one years.

During his tenure he hoisted four state titles, three of which were WISAA State Championships and one WIAA state championship in 2003. O'Connell tallied an impressive 129-69 career mark and in his final four seasons at Regis the Ramblers set a school-record with an amazing 49-4 record.

O'Connell says part of his decision to resign from coaching at Regis is so that he can spend more time with his family.
