Roger Clemens has begun his second stint as a New York Yankee with a 9-to-3 win over Pittsburgh.

Clemens threw 108 pitches over six innings in his major league season debut, allowing three runs and five hits while striking out seven. He gave up an R-B-I single to Adam LaRoche and a game-tying two-run double to Jack Wilson in the fourth.
Clemens was on a major league mound for the first time since signing a one-year, 27 and a-half million-dollar contract last month.
Jorge Posada snapped a three-all tie with a sacrifice fly in the fifth. Robinson Cano went 3-for-5 with an R-B-I single and a run scored. Alex Rodriguez drove in two runs with an R-B-I grounder and a sacrifice fly as the Yankees won their fifth in a row.
Paul Maholm was lifted in the sixth, charged with three earned runs and six hits. He's 2-and-9.
