Even with the position shuffle, the Ramblers rallied to get the come-from-behind victory of over Kenosha St. Joseph's in the 5-2 win.
Regis was down 2-0 in the 2nd when Issac Hunter scored on an error by the shortstop to make it 2-1 Cardinals.
Then the Rambles bats broke out in the fourth inning when Mike Konzen singled to center for the RBI and immediately after, James Gunderson doubled down the right field line to score Konzen. The run marked the go-ahead RBI for Regis who took the 3-2 lead.
The fifth inning brought another 2-run offensive burst from Regis as the Ramblers were able to score on another error by the shortstop and then again thanks to a Jim Donnellan SAC Fly to left which brought home Chris Musser.
Musser went the full seven inning for Regis in the win. The Senior ace threw for 7 hits, 2 runs (1 earned) 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.
Regis now advances to the Division Three State Championship for the first time since 2002. The Ramblers with face La Crosse Aquinas who is making it's first ever state tournament appearance.
