Brewers' Miller Cracks Two Homers, Drives in Seven in Milwaukee Rout

Backup catcher Damian Miller tied a Brewers record by knocking in seven runs tonight, as Milwaukee beat Pittsburgh 10-to-3.

Miller homered twice during a four-hit night, including a grand slam.

The offensive outburst helped make a winner out of Carlos Villanueva, who replaced Jeff Suppan (SOO'-pon). Villanueva pitched four shutout innings for the victory, improving to 6-and-oh on the season.

Suppan gave up three runs in five innings. He left after throwing 106 pitches.

Brewers outfielder Corey Hart doubled in the seventh inning to extend his hitting streak to 18 games.

Masumi Kuwata took the loss for the Pirates. He falls to oh-and-1.
