Badger men's hockey team sweeps Alaska-Anchorage in WCHA playoffs
Blake Geoffrion had two goals and an assist and Derek Stepan had a goal and two assists as Wisconsin beat Alaska-Anchorage 7-2 Saturday for a sweep of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Blake Geoffrion had two goals and an assist and Derek Stepan had a goal and two assists as Wisconsin beat Alaska-Anchorage 7-2 Saturday for a sweep of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.

The Badgers (24-9-4) scored the last five goals of the game after back-to-back Seawolves goals tied it 2-2 in the second period.

Aaron Bendickson had two goals and Michael Davies and Justin Schultz also scored for Wisconsin, which advances to the WCHA Final Five.

Trevor Hunt and Curtis Leinweber netted goals for the Seawolves (11-23-2).

UAA's Bryce Christianson had 34 saves, while Wisconsin's Scott Gudmandson had 35.
