Wisconsin lost in its only Big Ten tournament game but the defeat didn't hurt the Badgers badly, if at all. UW was given a 4 seed in the NCAA tournament and will face Wofford of the Southern Conference in Jacksonville on Friday afternoon at 1:50 pm (CT).
The Terriers finished 26-8 and are in their first NCAA tournament.
Wisconsin finished its season at 23-8 following Friday's loss to Illinois in a Big Ten tournament quarterfinal game. Many expected a 4 seed for the Badgers before the start of the conference tourney.
Wofford, which has won 13 straight games, has one player scoring in double figures, Noah Dahlman at 16.8 points per game.
The Terriers lost to several big-name schools this season, including Michigan State and Illinois from the Big Ten, as well as Pittsburgh. Wofford owns victories over Georgia and South Carolina
