Brewers Drop Double-Header

The Brewers have been swept in their day-night double-header in Saint Louis.

The Cardinals won the night game 5-to-2 after taking the opener 7-to-6.

How bad was it for Milwaukee? The pitcher who won the second game entered the contest with a record of oh-and-10 and a 12-game regular-season losing streak.

But Anthony Reyes gave up two runs on two hits through six innings to get the win.

Geoff Jenkins had a sacrifice fly and Corey Hart hit his 16th homer for the Brewers.

Starter Chris Capuano falls to 5-and-7. He allowed four runs in six-plus innings and is oh-and-7 since May Seventh.

In the first game, closer Francisco Cordero blew a two-run lead, his fifth blown save of the season.
