WIAA Boys State Hoops: Regis beats Brillion to advance to D3 title game
Eau Claire Regis used an 18-4 run during the third-quarter to spark their 52-42 win over Brillion in Friday's WIAA Division 3 state semifinals at the Kohl Center. The Ramblers will play Racine St. Catherine's for the state championship Saturday at 1:45PM.

Eau Claire Regis used an 18-4 run during the third-quarter to spark their 52-42 win over Brillion in Friday's WIAA Division 3 state semifinals at the Kohl Center. The Ramblers will play Racine St. Catherine's for the state championship Saturday at 1:45PM.
Senior Adam Ganske led the Ramblers with 12 points, while Steven Hofacker had a double-double with 10 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks.
The game was tied at 19-19 at halftime, before the Ramblers built a double-digit lead. Joe Lorenz scored all six of his points during the run that proved to be the difference in the game.
For Regis, it's the program's first win at the WIAA state tournament.
The Ramblers improve their record to 23-5 on the season. Regis will play Racine St. Catherine's for the state championship Saturday at 1:45PM.
