Eau Claire North senior Laura Van Es will play college basketball at Division 2 Lake Superior State University next season.

Van Es signed her letter of intent Thursday at North High School.

Last season, Van Es battled through a hand injury to average eight points and five rebounds per game, being named honorable mention all-Big Rivers Conference.

Getting the chance to play in college is a dream come true for Laura, and she's excited for the challenge to take her game to the next level.
