Brewers Drop Series Finale to Reds

Pinch-hitter Javier Valentin hit a bases-loaded, two-run double off Scott Linebrink in the eighth inning and the Cincinnati Reds beat Milwaukee 7-6.

The Reds rallied back from a 5-0 deficit getting home runs from Adam Dunn and Brandon Phillips.

Prince Fielder hit his NL-leading 38th homer for the Brewers. Ryan Braun, Bill Hall and J.J. Hardy also went deep for Milwaukee, which has lost six of seven and 10 of 13.

Reliever Bill Bray got one out for the win and Linebrink took the loss. David Weathers finished for his 25th save.
