Eau Claire American Legion baseball team avoids elimination with win against Green Bay
The Eau Claire American Legion baseball team moved on to the semifinal round of the Wisconsin Class AAA state tournament with a 4-2 win against the Green Bay Shockers Friday afternoon.

The Eau Claire American Legion baseball team moved on to the semifinal round of the Wisconsin Class AAA state tournament with a 4-2 win against the Green Bay Shockers Friday afternoon.

Tyler Sparger turned in a complete-game effort to get the win for Eau Claire, who will now face defending state champion Wausau in the semifinal round. Eau Claire plays Wausau on Saturday, July 31st at a time yet to be determined.
