Badgers' McCabe excited about expectations for men's hockey team

By  |

The Wisconsin men's hockey team held their red-white scrimmage in Eau Claire this past Saturday as more than a thousand fans showed up to support the Badgers. Ranked third in the pre-season, UW opens their season this weekend when they host Northern Michigan. Defenseman Jake McCabe says his team is excited about the high expectations for their team, "We have the team to go to Philadelphia, that's our goal, that's what we said in the locker room before our scrimmage today, that the road to Philadelphia begins today here in Eau Claire. And all these polls and all these things are an indicator of what we can do but we have to take it game by game like you said and it starts next weekend against Northern."
