Blugolds football looks to bounce back after tough loss to St. Thomas

Despite last Saturday's disappointing loss to highly-ranked St. Thomas, the UW-Eau Claire football team is now receiving votes in the latest national poll. The Blugolds let a double-digit fourth quarter lead slip away against the Tommies and now must regroup to face St. John's this Saturday at Carson Park.
Coach Todd Glaser says, "I think for the coaches it's always tough when you lose like that and it was tough on the kids, but we came in on Monday, had our 24-hour rule, learned from our mistakes have moved on to St. John's which you have to because they are a very good team and if you're not ready they are going to beat you. You look at the positives and look at the negatives and we told the kids if you can learn from the negatives, then the loss isn't that bad but if you still make the same mistakes then it is a bad loss so we want to learn from it and we want to practice so were not making the same mistakes again."
