Boyceville looking for another upset when they face Regis

When Boyceville meets Eau Claire Regis at Carson Park on Friday in level three of the WIAA playoffs, the Bulldogs will be looking for their 4th straight win over a conference champion.

The bulldogs barely made the playoffs. Needing a win over Dunn - St. Croix champs Elk Mound in the final regular season game to make it .They won that game, then went on to beat Dairyland champs Whitehall in level one and Cloverwood champions Athens last week in level 2.
The Bulldogs know it will take a big effort to beat Cloverbelt champions Regis and continue their playoff run.

Head Coach Brian Roemhild says "The last three games for us have been against conference champs, ranked in state, we know Regis is a really good football team, we got to play them last year, they pretty much bring everybody back so it's going to be a tough battle for us. We are going to have to stop their run and we are going to have to pack it in and try to shut them down, but they have so many weapons so you can't key on anybody, so we are going to try to do what we did last year and get 11 guys to the ball.

Senior quarterback Matt Leach added "Not many teams can say they have got the chance to play a fourth straight conference champions and it has been great to beat these conference champs and show them what the Dunn-St. Croix is made of"
