Cavaliers open season with two wins over Chaseburg/Coon Valley

The Eau Claire Cavaliers opened up their 43rd year of play with a pair of victories at Carson Park Saturday afternoon.

In game one, the Cavs fell behind 2-0 to the Blues in the top of the third inning, but in the bottom of the frame they were able to score three and held on for the 3-2 win.

The Cavaliers then got the sweep on the day with a 7-3 win in game two. They are back in action Sunday afternoon with a doubleheader with the Sparta Millers starting at 1pm.
