Cavaliers, Crush and Predators collect donations for local athlete
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Friday night at Carson Park, the Eau Claire Cavaliers held a benefit for former Eau Claire North and Minnesota pitcher Phil Isaksson.
23-year-old Isaksson was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year.
The Cavaliers collected donations at the door and also sold raffle tickets for prizes. The money collected will go to Isaksson.
The Eau Claire Crush and Chippewa Valley Predators also collected donations next door at the Carson Park football field.
