Eau Claire North girls basketball shows their versatility

The Huskies are off to a 3-1 start including a 33-point rout over Menomonie last Friday night. North will be in search of a non-conference win tonight when they travel to Superior. Coach Michelle Peplinski, now in her fourth-year at the helm, says she's impressed with her team's versatility.

"I keep coming back to our versatility. We have a lot of players that on any given night can be scoring threats and so we're really trying to develop everybody at the same level, so we can have lots of options when it comes to a game night," says Huskies head coach Michelle Peplinski

"Everybody that starts, comes off the bench, can contribute anything. We just work together," says senior Cayci Wathke. "The seniors have been playing together since second and third grade so we just know each other and trust each other."

"We just want to take every game, one at a time. We're really goal oriented, so one at a time," adds senior Savannah Salm. "And we have really good attitude this year, just play together as a team."

"Everyone works hard, everyone brings it every day in practice and I'm very excited to see what comes out," adds senior Kayonna Lee.
