Express win 4th straight with victory over Thunder Bay

The Eau Claire Express remain in the hunt for a postseason birth as they scored three times in the eighth inning to beat Thunder Bay 5-2 on Wednesday night.

Tim Wise was the hot bat for the Express tonight, going 2-5 with 3 RBI in the victory. Jake Cole pitched seven strong innings, giving up just four hits and striking out eight batters in a no-decision.

The Express are three and half games back of Lakeshore for the South Division lead and host Thunder Bay again Thursday night at Carson Park.
