Express cruise past the Bullfrogs 7-1
The Eau Claire Express (8-16) pounded the Green Bay Bullfrogs (15-10) on Saturday 7-1 at Joannes Stadium.
The Eau Claire Express scored three runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Casey Gillaspie, a wild pitch, and a groundout by Ryan Wagner.
Gillaspie racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Eau Claire Express.
Phillip Walby picked up the win for the Eau Claire Express. Walby allowed one earned run, four hits and five walks while striking out five over six innings of work.
Harry Stanwyck (1-1) took the loss for the Green Bay Bullfrogs. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
