Casey Gillaspie was hot from the plate for the Eau Claire Express. Gillaspie went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

The La Crosse Loggers couldn't get anything going as long as Philip Walby was pitching. The La Crosse Loggers managed just three hits off of Walby, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out five during his six innings of work.

TJ Kendzora couldn't get it done on the hill for the La Crosse Loggers, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
