Football Preview: Bloomer Blackhawks

Last year the Bloomer Blackhawks had an amazing run, winning 10-straight games including 4-straight shutouts before losing to the eventual state champions Stanley-Boyd in level three of the playoffs.

This year, the Blackhawks will have a challenge to repeat that success as they lost most of the stars from last years squad.
But Bloomer has had success restocking their talent pool as they have not missed the playoffs since 1997 and they don't plan on letting that streak end this year. John Post's says his squad will face an early test against Somerset.

"Are kids are always excited to get back into the swing of things. Somerset is usually a pretty tough game for us so that is the downside of out first game but we are hoping to be competitive. We are a young group this year, we lost a lot of good seniors last year and kids are gonna have to learn on the fly."
