Football Preview: Fall Creek

Last year was a successful one for the Fall Creek football team,
They won 6 games, advancing to the second level of the playoffs and giving eventual state champs Stanley-Boyd a run for their money.

That will put more pressure on this years Crickets to repeat that success.
But that will not be easy, as Fall Creek plays in the stacked Cloverbelt conference that features the before mentioned Stanley-Boyd and Regis squads just to name two of the conferences top teams.

Head coach Josh Tumm knows his team has to concentrate on each game and not look too far ahead.

"We just really want to take it one game at a time, kind of the same approach as last year. We play in an extremely difficult conference, every week it's super competitive." I think you can really be lured into trap by trying to place yourself somewhere and for us it starts with trying to go 1-0 against Spencer in week one and that is all we are focusing on right now."

Senior Austin Schoen knows the importance of keeping focus in conference action.

"No team is easy in this conference, you can't just look at their record, you have to play as a team every week and just have to keep working hard"
