Glenwood City football team advances to Madison, Hudson falls in D1 state semifinal

Glenwood City joined Eau Claire Regis and Somerset in punching their ticket to next week's WIAA state football championships in Madison. The Hilltoppers trailed Hilbert 8-nothing late in the first half, but scored the final 28 points to win 28-8. Meanwhile in Hudson, the Raiders hung tough with Division 1 state power Arrowhead, trailing 22-20 late in the first half, but could not keep up, losing 43-20 in Schofield.
