Hockey tournament benefits Phil Isaksson

This weekend they are playing hockey for a good cause at the Hobbs ice arena for the the 2nd annual Tony Navarre 3 on 3 tournament .

Hockey standouts such as Jake Dowell and Jefferson Dahl are some of the big names hitting the ice.

The tournament was started last year to benefit Tony Navarre, a Eau Claire Memorial graduate who battled leukemia.

This year, Navarre wanted to help Phil Issakson, a North graduate battling brain cancer.

"It's incedible. A year ago I didn't know if i would be here and the fact that we can do it for someone else and help them out and hopefully improve their situation is an honor"

The tournament runs through Saturday, with games starting at 8:30am on Saturday. Admission is a donation for Phil Isaksson.
