BILOXI, Miss. (AP) -- The Southern League it has approved the sale of the Huntsville (Ala.) Stars, the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, to a group in Biloxi, Miss.

The franchise moves to Biloxi, starting with the 2015 season.

The Stars will be moving from the oldest stadium in the Southern League to a brand new facility in downtown Biloxi. Construction hasn't even started on the new stadium, but Biloxi city leaders have approved the $21 million bond needed to fund the work.

The new Biloxi team will be the Southern League's third along the central Gulf Coast, joining teams in Mobile and Pensacola, Fla. The Mississippi Braves, who play in Pearl, are also in the league.
