No. 16 Wisconsin ready to roll into Minnesota

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- No. 16 Wisconsin is ready to roll into Minnesota.

The high temperature on Saturday in Minneapolis is forecast to be in the upper teens. In the Midwest, that is perfect weather for a running game.

And few teams can push around defenses on the ground like the Badgers (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten), who average a whopping 7 yards rushing per attempt.

It starts up front with an offensive line that averages roughly 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds. Running backs James White and Melvin Gordon can break away for touchdowns at any time, thanks in large part to good downfield blocking by receivers.

They're hoping to keep the rush going in the rivalry game against the surging Gophers (8-2, 4-2) and hang on to Paul Bunyan's Axe.
