MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- No. 21 Wisconsin keeps powering past potential obstacles to earn victories.
The latest example came last week. The Badgers (6-2) were without injured linebacker Chris Borland. Star running back Melvin Gordon was having a subpar day. Leading receiver Jared Abbrederis left with a chest injury.
Wisconsin overcame a slow start and pulled away for a 28-9 win, led by two touchdown runs by James White.
Now the Badgers looking to carry over the momentum into a November stretch during which they'll play three of their final four games at home. BYU is next with a visit Saturday to Camp Randall Stadium.
Even-keeled coach Gary Andersen is fond of saying how nothing fazes his team. Quarterback Joel Stave says it's a product of the team preparation in practice.
