RMB boys hockey team looking forward to post-season

The RMB boys hockey team raised their record to 14-2-1 last Saturday with an impressive 5-2 victory over New Richmond. The Saints remain unbeaten in Middle Border Conference play and should be setting themselves up for one of the top seeds in next month's WIAA sectional.
Coach Guy Brown says, "First thing, you have to walk before you can run, you have to have your goals high, I want the kids to shoot for high goals yet you have to have reality and you have to earn it on the ice, working hard and the rest just comes automatically. Games like that, Rice Lake and other Big Rivers teams are basically getting us ready for that playoff run."
Junior defenseman Victor Bourget adds, "I think it helps to play a lot of different teams outside of our conference, play better competition to be ready to face other teams in our sectional. I think last year we knew we could be a really good team and we lost some games that we should have won, I think we learned a lot from that and this year, we've been able to get on a roll and our confidence has been built with every win."
