Regis' Neff signs Division 1 letter of intent to play tennis at UW-Green Bay

By  |

Eau Claire Regis tennis player Maria Neff signed a national letter of intent Monday morning to play at Division1 UW-Green Bay. Neff, the Ramblers number one singles player had a record of 22-8 this season while helping Regis to the WIAA Division 2 state semifinals last month. Neff says her scholarship is the result of hard work and she's excited to get the chance to play at the next level.
Neff says, "Everyone on the team was really nice, and I feel it ultimately was the best decision for me. I looked at other schools like Augustana and Winona State but Green Bay stood out the most for me. And I think the coach will have a positive impact on my tennis because she's played competitively all her life and I think she can help bring me to the next level."
