Regis football team hammers Stratford 50-0, Ramblers improve to 2-0

Chris Pica-Anderson ran for two scores and threw for another in the first half as the Eau Claire Regis football team routed Stratford 50-0 at Carson Park. Hayden Frey returned the opening kick-off 90-yards for a touchdown as the Ramblers started off with a quick 8-nothing lead. Khadel Akindolire added an 85-yard touchdown run as Regis led the Tigers 43-zip at the half. With the victory, the Ramblers improve to 2-0 and will host the defending Division 5 state champs Colby next Thursday at Carson Park.
In other Thursday prep action, the Eau Claire Memorial boys soccer team remained unbeaten with a 2-0 win over Hudson while Eau Claire North downed Chi Hi 1-zip. While in girls volleyball Big Rivers action, Eau Claire Memorial lost to Chi Hi 3-0 while Eau Claire North took down Menomonie by the same 3-0 score.
