In the Big Rivers, Eau Claire Memorial stayed unbeaten by taking care of Chippewa Falls, 51-37. In Eau Claire, the North Huskies gave one more gift to long time head coach Pat Hammond, who was honored at halftime, by beating Menomonie, 59-37. Out at Silvermine Hiil, the 124th Silver Mine Invitational got underway with a thrilling, 99-meter jump from Norwegian competitor Hakon Helgeson.
