Updated: 10/14/2010 - The Eau Claire Memorial football team's quest for a playoff-clinching win continues, as the Old Abes couldn't keep pace with Menomonie in the second half of a 32-7 loss. At Carson Park, Eau Claire North finally earned its first win of the year, and the first victory for head coach Ben King, by knocking off Hudson, 27-14. Posted: 10/11/2010 - Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley will undergo knee surgery Tuesday and will be out 3-to-6 weeks, linebacker Nick Barnett will undergo surgery on his wrist this week but it is unclear if his season is over, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss practice time this week with a concussion and may not play next Sunday against Miami.

Hudson's Katie Wetzstein took first in the girls race, while Eau Claire Memorial took the girls team title. On the boys side, Andrew Faris of Chi-Hi dominated the boys race.
