Posted: 12/18/2009 - The Eau Claire North girls basketball picked up its fourth win in a row Friday night, taking down non-conference opponent Superior, 49-38, at the Doghouse. Across town, Menomonie was able to come away with a road win in the Big Rivers Conference, calmly containing Eau Claire Memorial, 68-44. In boys BRC hoops, both the Old Abes and the Huskies earned wins away from home, as Eau Claire North beat Superior, 55-50, while Eau Claire Memorial downed Menomonie, 71-51. In the Western Cloverbelt, Fall Creek didn't spoil its unbeaten record or a highly anticipated showdown against Eau Claire Regis next Tuesday by beating Osseo-Fairchild, 73-54.
