In the Cloverbelt Conference, Eau Claire Regis improved to 7-1 with a 33-14 win over Stanley-Boyd, while in the Marawood, a blocked extra point cost Chippewa Falls McDonell against Marathon, 21-20. The Old Abes also picked up an important victory on the pitch, as the Memorial boys soccer team captured a regional final title with a 3-0 win over Lakeland. In another Division 1 soccer sectional, Eau Claire North's playoff run ended with a 2-1 loss to Marshfield. In high school girls volleyball, Chippewa Falls-McDonell claimed bragging rights over the entire Cloverbelt conference with a 3-0 sweep of Eastern Champ Greenwood.
