Odegaard Pitches Shutout as Express Rout Bombers

Updated: 06/10/2009 - Just hours after he was made the 23rd round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2009 Major League Baseball Amateur Player Draft, Eau Claire Express righthander Chris Odegaard threw a complete game shutout to lead his team to a 10-0 win over the Battle Creek Bombers. Odegaard allowed just two hits and struck out 12 batters in the win. Meanwhile, teammate Joe Bonfe also was selected in MLB draft, going in the 21st round to the New York Mets.
