Updated: 10/15/2009 - The Eau Claire Memorial girls swimming and diving team kept its perfect record in the Big Rivers Conference intact Thursday night, posting a 123-63 win over crosstown rival Eau Claire North. The Old Abes also picked up an important victory on the pitch, as the Memorial boys soccer team captured a regional final title with a 3-0 win over Lakeland. In another Division 1 soccer sectional, Eau Claire North's playoff run ended with a 2-1 loss to Marshfield. In high school girls volleyball, Chippewa Falls-McDonell claimed bragging rights over the entire Cloverbelt conference with a 3-0 sweep of Eastern Champ Greenwood.
