The Neillsville girl's basketball team is making it's third trip to the state tournament, first time since 2007 and the first time as a Division 4 program. They will face Howards Grove in the semifinals, a team that has never been to the state tournament but still the Warriors say they are preparing for a tough game.

Sophomore Jenny Lindner: "We're working on full court presses because we heard Howards Grove presses us a lot in full man so we're working on that. Getting a bunch of shots up, getting our form back. We're just working, working hard."

Coach John Gaier: "We know based on the last few games its gonna be loud so communication is an issue that we work on and making sure the kids know exactly what we want done and what we want to run and those types of things, so working on that. Making sure that the kids are confident when they step out on the floor and try to create an atmosphere in practice. As well as we can as the distance on the floor. Playing on the bigger floor, doing those types of things is gonna be key. Making them feel as comfortable as they can so that when they step up they're ready to play."
