Osceola junior Casey Danielson captured her third-straight WIAA Division 2 state girls golf championship Tuesday, finishing with a two-day total of 142 strokes.
Danielson finished with a score of -2, the lowest of any competitor in either the Division 1 or Division 2 fields. Danielson shot even par during her final round, but still finished 13 strokes of her closest competitor.
Danielson will now chase a fourth consecutive state championship, a feat her sister Lindsay accomplished from 2005-2008.
Also in Divison 2, Eau Claire Regis' Katie Pokrandt wound up in a tie for third place, finishing with a two-day total score of 156.
