Thursday night at the Kohl Center, the Regis Ramblers girl’s basketball team will start their quest for a back to back state titles as they battle Oshkosh Lourdes in the semifinals.

The Ramblers got a grand send off at Regis High School as they left for the state basketball tournament in Madison . Parents, fans and students came to wish the players good luck tomorrow and hopefully on Saturday, which is when the division 4 championship would be played.

Though the Ramblers are the defending champs, head coach Cody Rumpel knows the players will still have nerves as they take the floor tomorrow night at the Kohl Center.

"I think that if you got to this point in the season and you don't have butterflies, I think there may be something a little wrong with you. I think with the expectations the way they are for everybody, there's nerves for every single team. I think we just gotta channel those nerves and kind of use them to our advantage."
